Steven was born and raised in Halifax, West Yorkshire and has three grown-up children. He has worked at Marske since May 2010 having spent the previous 32 years working in the financial services industry. Steven’s hobbies and interests are too many to mention. He used to play cricket in summer for but has retired now. In winter he follows the fortunes Halifax Town Football Club. He is also a keen walker and enjoys going to the cinema, theatre and concerts.
Samantha has worked at Marske Veterinary Practice since July 2003, having previously worked in optics. She loves music, animals and shopping. Professionally she likes to help animal charities as much as she can and gets great satisfaction when pets can be found lovely new homes.
Elaine is originally from Redcar and has spent a number of years in Northumberland. She has three grown up children and a SARA rescue dog called Brady. She has worked at the practice since March 2010 and her hobbies include swimming, aqua fit, walking and reading.
Gemma started working with us in 2015 after spending her career doing clerical work at Middlesbrough County Court. Gemma is always bubbly, energetic and happy to help everyone. After working in the County Court she is more than capable of dealing with the strains and stresses of veterinary practice. Gemma has got a moggy called Cornelius and two children. Gemma has been a lifelong cat fancier and helped our practice to achieve Cat International Silver Standard Cat Friendly Award as the only practice in the area.
Janice is originally from Middleton-on-Tees near Richmond. She attended Bydales School in Marske and has worked at Marske Veterinary Practice since January 2007. Janice lives in Normanby with her husband Neil and their dogs Gus and Max, who are Bearded Collies. She enjoys walking, reading and visiting different places. She feels that working in reception provides an important contribution to the team and that customer service is imperative to veterinary practice.
